Swedish occult rockers Nephila return with Huldra, a full-length descent into Nordic folklore and early-70s heavy rock. Formed in Arvika in 2017 and known for dual lead vocals, twin guitars, and masked live ritual, the band leaves the cosmic haze of their 2021 debut and walks straight into the forest.The album follows the Huldra — the forest spirit who lures wanderers off the path with beauty, then takes what they cannot give back. The songs move from light into dark: first the still night, then the pursuit, then the moment you realize you are no longer heading home. Bluesy riffs, psych twist, and a big vintage punch carry the story. Two voices trade allure and warning. The guitars do the rest.This is not costume folklore. It is seduction as riff, myth as groove, and a record meant to be played loud enough that the woods start listening back.
